Payment method
Medevidex uses Stripe to process all payments securely. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
Free trial
New users receive a one-time 14-day free trial with 100 credits and 500 MB of storage. The trial begins when you create your account.
When the trial ends, all uploaded documents, chat history, and associated data are permanently deleted. Your account remains active so you can subscribe to a paid plan at any time.
The free trial is available once per email address. You cannot register for a second free trial with the same email.
Paid subscriptions
The Basic plan ($5/month) includes 250 credits and 2.5 GB of storage. It is billed monthly and auto-renews at the end of each billing period. Monthly credits reset to zero each month — unused monthly credits do not carry over.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal, accessible from your Subscription page.
Cancellation and grace period
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account enters a frozen state:
During the frozen state, your documents and data are preserved for 90 days (3 months). You cannot chat, upload, or ingest new documents, but you can browse your library, delete files, and view your past chat history.
You can resubscribe at any time during the grace period to restore full access. After 90 days, all documents, chat history, and uploaded files are permanently deleted.
Storage limits
Each plan has a storage limit. If you resubscribe after a lapse and your existing data exceeds your plan's storage allowance, chat and uploads will be blocked until you delete enough files to fit within the limit.
You can manage your files from the Library at any time. Once your storage usage is within the limit, full access is restored automatically.
Credits
Credits are a shared pool used for both chat queries and document ingestion. One chat query costs 1 credit. Document ingestion costs 1 credit per document, regardless of page count.
Monthly credits reset at the start of each billing period. Unused monthly credits do not carry over. When credits are exhausted, your library remains accessible in read-only mode until credits reset.
Basic subscribers can purchase additional credits at any time — 100 bonus credits for $2.50. Bonus credits never expire and are not affected by monthly resets. Monthly credits are used first; bonus credits are only drawn on when monthly credits run out.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
